Lucas' first Thanksgiving

We had a great time spending Thanksgiving at our home with our family.  Here are some pictures of the fun.

Lucas at 16 weeks

Lucas tries so hard to chew on his hands.

And his efforts are successful!

Did someone say milk?

Yes, they did!  Thanks for the breakfast, Mom!

I can't believe our son is four months old.  It seemed only fitting to post four pictures.  Lucas is up to new tricks every day.  He loves spending time in his pack and play playing with the toys on the mobile.  He is strong enough to pull down the mobile and put it in his mouth.  We have become increasingly mindful of his ability to get in "trouble" and are always ready to intervene before the fun turns into Lucas losing a limb.

Lucas at 15 weeks

Lucas likes his tie dye onesie.  He is so happy to be a little hippie boy!

Can you find the baby in this picture?  Thanks again to Aunt Pam and Uncle Butch for the neat blanket!

Lucas at 14 weeks

What a happy little man we have!

Lucas is always expressive; it's part of his charm.

Not-so-new pictures of Lucas

Becoming a mom has resulted in a two month time delay in attending to anything that is not a crisis.  Here are the pictures from Lucas' newborn session when he was three weeks old.  They were taken by Elizabeth Cayton Photography.

Lucas' baptism

Lucas with his Godmother, Hilary.  Roger get some much-needed attention.

Lucas enjoying himself with Hilary and Roger.

The proud parents hold Lucas before the service begins.  I am wearing my birthday gift (well, one of them) from Andrew, a blue necklace and earrings.  I also got a lovely card and Kindermusic classes for Lucas.

Lucas stares at something on the floor.  Mom and dad cheese it up.

Lucas scans the sanctuary for criminals.  Hilary smiles.

No criminals, but I've got an eye on things just in case...

Babcia has been EXTREMELY helpful all weekend preparing for Lucas' baptism and shares a moment with Lucas.

Lucas is still unsure of the safety of the sanctuary...better safe than sorry!

Mimi and Lucas converse back at home following the baptism.

Lucas was baptized on Sunday, November 6.  As parents, this was a proud and memorable time for us.  We were surrounded by friends and family.  Lucas was baptized by our priest, Mimi and Lucas has two Godparents, Hilary and Marty.  Hilary was able to travel to attend Lucas' baptism.  Marty lives on west coast and attended in spirit.  Oh, and on the same day I turned 30.  These are some pictures from our weekend of celebration.
